Building a stronger community by providing all citizens with the resources to thrive.

This truly collaborative model fundamentally improves the system through which we address poverty, support our neighbors and strengthen our community.

We must think big, be bold, and come together to bring Mainspring to the Seacoast.

Mainspring is based on national best practices for mitigating the impacts of poverty.

Mainspring is adopting an innovative and research-based approach to solving large systemic issues - including hunger and homelessness. After an extensive analysis of similar models across the country and right here in our region, we are taking what we have learned and tailoring the programs, services, and collaborative aspects of Mainspring to meet the unique needs of our community.

“I can’t take another day off of work to go on a scavenger hunt for social services. I’m starting to think that it would be easier to end up in the hospital or in prison where I’ll at least have a warm bed and three meals a day.”

Our Campaign

It's time to think big, be bold, and create a new strategic system that ensures a strong and healthy Seacoast region well into the future.

Fair Tide and Footprints are leading a $6.3M capital campaign to develop this comprehensive, social service resource hub. This initiative requires the participation of our entire community for the health and well-being of the Greater Seacoast Region. Incredible support from our Seacoast community and funding from local, county, state, and federal agencies have resulted in over $5.1 million raised to date. We are grateful to those who have contributed to the campaign thus far and look forward to discussing the ways in which you can help bring this vital resource to life.

The Mainspring Capital Campaign accepts multi-year pledges, cash/checks, stocks, in-kind support, endowed gifts, and more. Gift recognition opportunities are also available. Please reach out to learn more.
